Two ways to work together. Same standard either way.
Both tracks run on twelve week Blocks, built from three four week Segments, opening with a full movement assessment and closing with a reassessment. The difference is whether I am standing next to you while you do it.

Coached sessions on the floor with me, plus independent sessions programmed for the rest of your week. Best if you want hands-on technique work, or you simply train better with someone there.
- Everything in the online track, plus:
- Coached sessions at Revo Australia, Melbourne
- Assessment run in person, hands on
- Technique corrected in the moment, not after the fact
- Session frequency and length built around your week
Hybrid runs on a minimum of two coached floor sessions a week — frequency above that, length and investment are agreed on your consult. Places are limited by the hours I have on the floor.

Twelve weeks is the minimum because it is the shortest honest window for the body to adapt, be measured, and adapt again.
The Rebuild
Position, tempo and range before load. What the assessment found decides everything that goes in here.
The Climb
Volume settles, load climbs, technique holds. This is usually where the numbers start moving.
The Proof
Heavier, sharper work, then the reassessment — hard evidence of what changed, and the next Block planned from it.
Ten years in the gym before I built any of this.
I’m Matthew Totton. I hold a Certificate III & IV in Fitness, I’m fully insured, and my first aid and CPR are kept current — the standard requirements for training clients in Australia, and the ones I’d expect anyone coaching me to hold too. What actually shapes how I coach is the decade before any of that paperwork: training myself, stalling, working out what was structure and what was just effort, long before I ever put it in front of a client.
That is why the method starts with an assessment instead of a template — I’ve seen how much of training advice online skips straight to a program and never checks whether your body is actually ready for it. I coach in person at Revo Australia in Melbourne and online across the country, and every plan, every check-in and every adjustment is still written by me personally. Nothing you get is templated or automated.
The recognised qualification to train clients in Australia — gym instruction and personal training, both completed.
Renewed on schedule, not left to lapse. If something goes wrong in a session, that matters more than any program on paper.
Professional indemnity and public liability cover, in place for every session, online or on the floor.
Training and studying long before this was a business — the assessment-first method comes from what actually worked, not a course alone.
